ILP for discovering strength

ILP is a specific strategy employed in our school that helps us to identify the child’s strength and weakness, this methodology is encouraged in our school unlike the other schools which follows the regular pattern. We understand the fact that every child is unique in his/her own way and this type of individual talent has to be enhanced instead of following the usual methodology of teaching individual learning plan also helps the child in identifying their career in the early stages of life we help the child to figure out what his/her skills and interests are to match these skills and interests with career and set specific career goals.

Independent time for decision making

Independent time provides opportunities to these children to do activities independently and puts them back to the environment where they love to explore themselves and to do activities with their imagination. They learn to engage their time creatively. This habit brings two important skills; it makes them lifelong learners with inbuilt curiosity to learn new things. Secondly they think creatively in situations/ context which they never encountered previously
Creative challenge for creative confidence

Creative thinking is not a talent; it is a skill that can be learned: it empowers people by adding strength to their natural abilities, which improves teamwork, productivity and, where appreciate, profits.”
Exploration hour for learning mathematics, science

Life is an exploration of things. The more exploration we make, the more knowledge we gain”. Concepts are always built by interconnecting with previous concepts, children learn from crude way of knowing to retired way of knowing. Unless a child connects his new concepts to previously known concepts or observations there is no learning. In exploration hour, we seek active cooperation of student to know his mind, to connect the new concepts with the existing concepts and to connect his question raised due to observation
Language Hour for learning multiple languages

Every child learns their mother tongue at a very young age, by just listening, observing, practising (to speak) and self-correcting. Rich vocabulary and advanced language skills develop in an environment where adults practise the sophisticated oral and written language. Language develops in this order: Listening, Speaking, Reading and writing. In the iPlay Program, we introduce four languages (Tamil, Hindi, English) These four languages are taught through story time and circle time: songs, rhymes, poems and discussions are all incorporated. It may look like play, but language skills will be developed daily, and they become proficient by the end of the iPlay Program.
Smart moves for brain development

Active play and regular physical activity have a positive effect on classroom behaviour. Smart moves provide opportunities for young children to improve their interpersonal and motor skills and to enhance their attention to learning tasks. Our personalised smart moves hones the child’s mental sharpness and boosts the memory, concentration and focus that makes daily tasks quicker and easier to do.
Nature time for emotional development and reducing screen time

Our curriculum incorporates nature and the environment into learning. Spending time in nature can help students manage their mental health. We arrange lessons that take place in a garden or take children for a nature walk that helps children to engage with the sense of exploration and provide them with practical opportunities to understand their role within and impact upon the natural world. Also the student’s get to build connections to the world around them and gain insights into their responsibilities to themselves, other humans and the world around them.
PBL for real world skills

In project based learning the students work on a project over a biweek that engages them in solving a real-world problem or answering a complex driving question. They demonstrate their knowledge and skills by creating a public product or presentation for a real audience. The helps the students to develop deep content knowledge as well as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication skills.
