Focuses on Discovering unique skills, passion and strength
iDiscover is a future-focused learning programme designed for students aged 7.5 to 12.5 years, covering Grades 3 to 7. It aims to bridge foundational learning with real-world application by combining academic rigour, skill development, and strong community values. The programme moves beyond rote learning and prepares students to think independently, collaborate effectively, and adapt to a rapidly changing world.
The curriculum emphasises holistic development through experiential and project-based approaches. Students are encouraged to explore their interests, reflect on their learning, and actively participate in shaping their educational journey. Assessment is conducted based on grade-level progress rather than marks, ensuring reduced academic pressure while maintaining high learning standards.
A core feature of iDiscover is Project-Based Learning (PBL) supported by internships, field visits, and industrial visits. These experiences allow students to connect classroom concepts with real-life contexts. Through structured exploration hours, learners develop English literacy, scientific thinking, humanities understanding, and mathematical reasoning, along with seminars and book reviews that strengthen research and communication skills.
The programme also integrates strong language and academic foundations. Students engage in Language Hours covering Tamil, English, Mathematics, and Hindi, supported by workbooks and continuous practice. Regular community meetings provide a safe space for students to share weekly reflections, express opinions, and develop emotional intelligence and confidence in communication.
An important pillar of iDiscover is the Individual Learning Plan (ILP). Through ILP, students explore career-oriented skills such as programming, graphic designing, culinary arts, visual arts, and more. Learners choose focus areas, work on long-term projects, and build portfolios that give early clarity about interests and potential career pathways.
Students also take complete ownership of school events and celebrations, making learning highly authentic. From agenda creation and Master of Ceremonies preparation to event management, seating, signage, sound, and lighting, everything is student-led. Dedicated teams handle music selection, mashups, technical execution, and even the preparation of healthy snacks for the school community, fostering leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.
