“Learn, Play, Grow: The motive of our Circle Time “

In our school, circle time is a structured group activity that brings our iplay learners together to engage in songs, games, stories, and discussions. This interactive experience fosters social skills, language development, and a sense of community, providing numerous benefits that support the overall growth and development of our iplay(Prekg, LKG, and UKG) learners.

  • Cognitive Development: Our circle time activities (Storytelling, Puppet shows, Rhymes, and Games) stimulate our learners’ young minds, fostering their curiosity and knowledge.
  • Emotional Growth: Our group settings help our iplay learners to express their feelings and empathize with others and it encourages our learners imagination skills.
  • Retention: Our iplay learners retain information better through active engagement.
  • Sense of Community: Circle time fosters a sense of belonging and strengthens classroom relationships.

By incorporating circle time into our daily routine, we the team WWIS create a supportive and engaging environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development in our learners.

Here are some fruitful outcomes of our effective circle time:

🔸 After listening to the lion’s story our learners curiously asked why the lion is not eating grass?

🔸After discussing sweets one of our learners asked what do we say ‘Athirasam’ in English?

🔸 Our circle time we have a mixed group of pre-KG, LKG, and UKG learners in that way we inculcate peer learning. This develops communication skills, empathy, and curiosity.

🔸 Nowadays even our Pre-kg learners too started answering in sentences instead of answering in words

🔸 By Singing nursery rhymes and songs together, our older learners are helping younger ones to remember actions or lyrics.

🔸 Our math-based games like counting, sorting, or patterns help our learners to develop problem-solving skills.
